Frequently asked questions

How do I get paid?
By default, earnings are applied as Stripe account credit and automatically deducted from your next AIType renewal invoice. You can also connect a bank account via Stripe for direct cash transfers — set this up in your affiliate dashboard.
Do I earn on every renewal, or just the first month?
Every renewal. As long as someone you referred keeps their subscription active, you earn 50% of each monthly payment. There's no cap and no expiry.
How long does the referral cookie last?
30 days. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 30 days, the referral is attributed to you — even if they don't sign up immediately.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are blocked. The referred email must be different from the referrer's email.
Is there a minimum payout threshold?
For account credit, no minimum — credits are applied automatically. For cash payouts via Stripe Connect, Stripe's standard minimum transfer amounts apply (typically $1).
Can I share my link publicly?
Yes. Post it anywhere — social media, newsletters, YouTube descriptions, blog posts, Discord servers. The more you share, the more you earn.
Can I customize my referral code?
Yes. In your affiliate dashboard, you can change your referral code to something memorable — your name, brand, or handle (3–20 letters/numbers).
